- The council is working together with partner housing associations to look at the housing needs of minority ethnic communities. To help this study, please tell us what you think in this short online survey.
- Renfrewshire Council is carrying out a review of its petitions process. Petitions allow members of the public to raise concerns with the council either as an individual or as an organisation. A survey has been prepared and will be live until 31 December 2008.
- Proposals to re-organise nursery school provision The consultation runs until 7 November 2008.
- Proposals relating to the closure of South Primary School Renfrewshire Council is consulting the public on proposals relating to the closure of South Primary School, the re-allocation of primary school places to neighbouring schools and the re-designation of school catchment areas in south Paisley. This consultation runs until 7 November 2008.
- Child protection - Renfrewshire Child Protection Committee is carrying out a survey of young people, and one of members of the public and staff working in related professions, as part of a review of child protection procedures.
- RaMPS Service User Survey - the council's RaMPS service works with young people who are involved in offending, and aims to take action at an early stage while offering support to parents and carers where appropriate. Tell us what you think about the service by completing this survey.
- Parental Involvement Survey - The Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006 recognises that parents have a vital role to play in their child's education. Under the act we have a duty to promote parental involvement. You can help us to do this by giving us your views.
- School Meals survey - Environmental Services is looking for views and comments on the school meals service.
- Food Hygiene Information Scheme - Our consumer protection service was looking for views on the scheme and the information that is provided on our website. The survey closed in August 2008.
- Public Consultation on Paisley Town Centre Conservation Area Renfrewshire Council undertook a public consultation on the extension of the conservation area to cover Paisley Town Centre. This consultation ran until 21 August 2008.
- Renfrewshire Community Planning Partnership is developing a new community plan to cover the period 2008-2017. This will set out what the organisations that serve Renfrewshire want to achieve and how they will work together to do this. As part of this process, a draft vision statement has been produced. As part of this, the partners sought the views or Renfrewshire residents on the draft vision statement to help with the development of the community plan.
- Core Paths Plan Statutory Consultation The Renfrewshire Draft Core Paths Plan was produced and was available for consultation until 31 August 2008.
- Evironmental Services survey - the department conducted a survey on its service pledges and about a number of services that it provides. The survey closed in February 2008.
- Decentralisation in Renfrewshire - The council has reviewed its scheme of decentralisation and consulted some 500 community and voluntary groups and community planning partners. The consultation has now closed and 5 new Local Area Committees (LACs) have been established.
- Trading standards - the service carried out a survey on local residents' views on the services that it provides. The consultation is now closed.
- Consultation on proposed closure of St Fergus nursery class and Morton nursery class - this consultation closed on 21 December 2007.
- Fountain Gardens Survey - survey carried out as part of a funding application we plan to make in March 2008 to help to restore the gardens. The survey ended on 30 November 2007.
- Review of polling districts and polling places Renfrewshire Council has now completed a review of polling arrangements in the parliamentary constituencies of 'Paisley and Renfrewshire North' and 'Paisley and Renfrewshire South'.
- Inquiry into Economic Development - The council invited evidence from all parties with an interest in the range of economic development services available locally. This consultation ended in September 2007.
- Houses in Multiple Occupation - the council has agreed a new planning policy which will have an impact on planning applications relating to houses in multiple occupation. The consultation ended on 8 August 2007.
- Development of sports strategy in Renfrewshire - this consultation has now ended and the strategy was approved in February 2007.
- European Union Survey. Renfrewshire Council, together with Glasgow City Council and East Renfrewshire Council, carried out a study of people from the new member states in the European Union (EU) who are living and working in the Greater Glasgow area. This online survey closed in May 2007.
- Gender Equality Survey - The council is developing a Gender Equality Scheme, which will set our plans to achieve greater gender equality. We asked for your views on how best to promote gender equality and tackle discrimination and harassment. The survey closed on 4 July 2007.
