Community and voluntary groups in Renfrewshire can look forward to a cash bonanza thanks to a new funding toolkit which could unlock millions of pounds worth of grants for them.
The Money Tree funding toolkit has been jointly developed by the Paisley Partnership Regeneration Company, the Renfrewshire Council for Voluntary Services and Renfrewshire Council.
The Money Tree funding toolkit has been jointly developed by the Paisley Partnership Regeneration Company, the Renfrewshire Council for Voluntary Services and Renfrewshire Council.
It provides the information community groups and voluntary organisations need to find the funding to get started or set up a specific project. It deals with all the different steps needed to make a successful funding application including:
- finding the right funding
- the application process
- monitoring the project
- developing your community group or voluntary organisation
- agencies that can help
"The toolkit is designed to help community and voluntary groups get the cash they need for their project, community group or wider community, no matter what size of grant they are looking for."
"A key part of the toolkit concept is that the packs aren't just sent out. They are personally delivered by one of our trained staff who can help community groups and voluntary organisations to work through the application process. The toolkit contains a wealth of useful information even for people who have some experience of applying for funding."
Community and voluntary groups should call Nigel Lack, policy officer, on 0141 840 3273 or email him on chiefexec@renfrewshire.gov.uk to arrange a Money Tree toolkit meeting.
