Bushes Primary School reopens Monday 28 April

Bushes Primary School in Grampian Avenue, Paisley is to reopen on Monday 28 April. The school was due reopen on Friday April 25 following a £3million refurbishment programme, but final technical checks had not been fully completed.

Parents will be contacted by phone or text message about the reopening date, and are also being asked to check local press and radio.

A Renfrewshire Council spokesperson said: "We apologise for the inconvenience caused to parents, pupils and staff."

"We have been dealing with a £3m capital investment programme at Bushes Primary and people will hopefully understand that in major construction projects like this there can sometimes be delays."
