Starting with a special flag-raising ceremony outside Renfrewshire House on Monday 22 June, the week saw Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde come together to pay tribute to the local armed forces in a service at Paisley Abbey.
The events culminated with a Armed Forces themed tea dance in Paisley Town Hall.
The joint service at Paisley Abbey was a huge success with hundreds of Renfrewshire residents turning out to show their respect for those local men and women who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces.
Renfrewshire’s Provost Celia Lawson said: "I am enormously proud, not only of our servicemen and women past and present, but of all the people in Renfrewshire who have taken part in the events of the past week to pay tribute to them."
The Armed Forces Tea Dance ended the week of events in style with Paulo and Angelo performing wartime tunes to a sold out audience.
Provost Lawson also read a letter out sent especially to Paisley from Dame Vera Lynn to mark the occasion.
She said: "I would like to thank everyone who has shown their support for all of these events and I look forward to next year."
