Staff and students from Reid Kerr College raised funds recently for the RNLI, and the college’s training restaurant the Renfrew Room, served up piping hot soup and tasty sandwiches to help support the Lifeboats.
Student liaison manager Alan Cowan organised the event with help from a group of students from the Support for Learning department.
The event was a huge success with over £220 raised on the day. Anne Gordon, senior fundraising manager Scotland said, “The RNLI is delighted that the students and staff at Reid Kerr College supported the RNLI's SOS fundraising events. The money raised will help enable the RNLI's brave volunteer crews to continue saving lives at sea. Thanks to everyone who made the event possible."
