Awards for All - £500 to £10,000
Mainly intended for community organisations, Awards For All can fund a whole variety of projects, activities, equipments and services. 2014 Communities - £300 to £2,000
A new micro grants programme,offering local sports clubs, voluntary and community organisations, community councils and schools grants to support and stimulate grass roots involvement in sport and physical activity.

Investing In Ideas, Big Lottery Fund - up to £10,000
Do you have an idea that could help benefit your local community, but do not know if it would work? The Big Lottery Fund has money to invest and we want to use it to turn your ideas into reality.
A range of organisations can apply, including voluntary and community sector groups, social enterprises, charities, local authorities and health bodies, companies limited by guarantee and community councils - however, priority is given to smaller voluntary and community groups with an income of less than £50,000.

Young Roots - £5,000 to £25,000
Young Roots aims to involve young people in finding out about their heritage, developing skills, building confidence and getting involved in their community.
This programme is designed for organisations that work with young people aged 13 to 20 (or 13 to 25 for young people with additional learning needs) and at least one heritage partner (such as a local wildlife trust or museum) to deliver a project with a history/heritage focus, for example, young people researching the history of their village or town, or doing practical conservation work on a nature reserve.

Scottish Community Foundation - £250 to £5,000
We award grants to groups or organisations rather than individuals. Your group must have a written constitution and a bank account in order to apply. You don't need to be a registered charity, but your group should be a non-profit making organisation with charitable aims and objectives.
The Foundation currently runs two grants programmes: general grants, and grants for women's projects. For more information, go to the Scottish Community Foundation website or phone 0141 341 4960.
BBC Children in Need
Grant applications are accepted for good quality, carefully planned projects which make a positive difference to children's lives. Organisations apply to us for a wide range of grants and the purpose and amount can vary enormously.
Applications are welcomed from organisations that are not for profit and have a constitution or a governing document; their own bank/building society account; at least two cheque signatories; a written child protection policy; and adequate and appropriate insurance.

Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland
This year's main grant programme will be named 'The Henry Duncan Awards' in honour of the Reverend Henry Duncan who founded the first Trustee Savings Bank – which ultimately led to the establishment of the Foundation – 200 years ago this year. Deadlines for applications are in July and September. The capacity building programme is also now open for applications, and charities can apply for one of these awards at any time.

Robertson Trust
The trust supports a broad range of organisations working in different fields of charitable activity, but is most interested in funding direct service delivery to people in Scotland in need of support. An independent grant-maker, they are willing to take risks and support new ideas but will also fund ongoing work which can show it makes a difference.

Tudor Trust
Tudor is an independent grant-making trust which aims to support work addressing the social, emotional and financial needs of people at the margins of our society. It is particularly interested in helping smaller, under-resourced organisations which offer direct services and which involve the people they work within their planning.

Historic Scotland
Historic Scotland provides a number of grant and funding schemes to support the protection, education and promotion of the historic environment, including sponsorship funds, voluntary sector funding and building repair grants.
