We all know that children need to be protected, but sometimes adults need to be protected too.
Elderly people can become frail or suffer from dementia or Alzheimers disease. Adults who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health problems are more vulnerable than me or you. And the effects of drink or drug abuse can also make it harder for a person to look after themselves.
