The street naming and numbering service works with developers to provide names for new streets and addresses for new properties. In this section, you can find out about:

The council also maintains a database of all addresses in Renfrewshire called a Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG). The database is used by the council and partner organisations to make sure that properties are accurately addressed and gives every property a unique property reference number (UPRN). All councils in Scotland have to set up a similar database as part of a Scottish Government scheme called Definitive National Addressing for Scotland (DNA-S).
