The street naming and numbering service works with developers to provide names for new streets and numbers for new properties. It also deals with property addressing queries and, where possible, provides help to residents and businesses with problems related to addresses.

The Council also maintains a database of all addresses in Renfrewshire - The Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG). All Scottish Councils keep a similar database of the properties in their area. Further information on this is provided under related content.
