The framework for road safety activities carried out by Renfrewshire Council is set out in the Road Safety Plan.
Key road safety activities provided include:-
- Policy preparation
- Route action planning
- Education, training and publicity
- Road safety audits, advice and traffic regulation
- Evaluation of pelican crossings and school crossing patrols
- Accident evaluation and monitoring
- Traffic calming and accident reduction schemes
- Cycling initiatives
The Road Safety Plan can be viewed at libraries in Renfrewshire, at the Customer Service Centre in Renfrewshire House or by sending an email requesting a copy (please remember to leave your name, address and postcode).
