The framework for road safety activities carried out by Renfrewshire Council is set out in the Road Safety Plan.

Key road safety activities provided include:-

• Policy preparation
• Route action planning
• Education, training and publicity
• Road safety audits, advice and traffic regulation
• Evaluation of pelican crossings and school crossing patrols
• Accident evaluation and monitoring
• Traffic calming and accident reduction schemes
• Cycling initiatives

The Road Safety Plan can be viewed at libraries in Renfrewshire, at the Customer Service Centre in Renfrewshire House or by sending an email requesting a copy (please remember to leave your name, address and postcode).
