Parking Controls - Keeping Renfrewshire's traffic moving

We create and manage traffic orders to keep our roads safe for everyone. These orders say where people can - and can't - park their vehicles. For example, we paint yellow lines and create loading areas for shops and commercial properties. While we create and manage the traffic orders, it's down to the police and traffic wardens to enforce them.

Parking space
The largest provision of off street car parking being in Paisley, then Johnstone, Renfrew and Bridge of Weir. Of the 2800 spaces available in Paisley, 230 are on street in the core Town Centre with an additional 550 spaces in the peripheral streets. Further free parking is available every evening, weekend and bank holiday at Renfrewshire Council HQ in Cotton Street, Paisley.
