Parking controls - keeping Renfrewshire's traffic moving
We create and manage traffic orders to keep our roads safe for everyone. These orders say where people can - and can't - park their vehicles. For example, we paint yellow lines and create loading areas for shops and commercial properties.

The largest provision of off street car parking being in Paisley, then Johnstone, Renfrew and Bridge of Weir. In Paisley Town Centre a charge is made for parking in the main car parks, including Paisley Centre (520 spaces), Piazza (365 spaces) and Arnotts (266 spaces). In Paisley
- Bicycle racks are also available throughout the pedestrian zone and motorcycle bays are located around the town centre.
- Shopmobility (wheelchair/scooter) for access to town centre facilities is also available free, please telephone 0141 889 0441 for further information.
- Metered parking controls ensure that town centre on street parking bays are not blocked all day. This encourages turnover of spaces freeing them to be used by many vehicles.
- Pay and Display tickets purchased within a Zone are valid within the particular Zone and not just the street from where the ticket has been purchased, further information on Zones can be viewed in the Parking in Paisley leaflet below.
