Home > Services > Planning and building standards > Building standards

The building standards service also help with the completion of property sales where work has been carried out, but no information or documents exist to show that adequate requirements were met.

We also play a major role in public safety with regards to buildings that have become dangerous or defective for a variety of reasons such as extreme weather conditions, fire damage, building deterioration through age or lack of proper maintenance measures.
