Most new buildings or major changes to existing buildings or to the local environment need consent – known as planning permission.

You can apply for planning permission electronically through the Scottish Planning Online website. This site is provided by the Scottish Government and includes straightforward forms which guide you through the process in easy to follow steps. You can also download planning application forms to fill in and post to us.
