Housing development at Renfrew Riverside
Renfrew Riverside is one of the largest regeneration projects in Scotland, covering 75 hectares of derelict land between the Braehead Shopping Centre and west of the Renfrew Ferry.

Renfrewshire Council approved a masterplan for the redevelopment of the area in June 2003, providing a framework for an urban extension to Renfrew consisting of over 2000 new homes and a million square feet of business and leisure uses.

Site works started in 2004 and since then considerable progress has been made. Achievements include:
Xscape at Renfrew Riverside
Renfrew Health Centre, Ferry Road, Renfrew

Phase two of the development is now underway, with family housing under construction to the south of Kings Inch Road. Community uses are also being provided as part of the development with the recent completion of a new £18M Renfrew Health Centre at Ferry Road. Proposals for a new Police Station for the town, at Station Road, are also being progressed.
