If you are homeless, threatened with homelessness, or and need advice about your housing options, we can help.
The type of advice and information we give you will depend on your individual circumstances, for example, if you are homeless or threatened with homelessness, we can provide you with advice about your legal rights and help you find accommodation. We can also help you apply for housing through the council, housing associations or the private sector.
Please get in touch with us for more information about these or any other issues you may have using the details at the bottom of this page.
There are also a number of specialist agencies and support services who may be able to help you, including the George Street Service in Paisley.
Landlords and creditors responsibilities
Landlords and creditors are required by law to notify us when they start to take court action that could result in making someone homeless. The aim of this legislation is to make sure we know in advance when someone is at risk of being evicted or having their home repossessed. Having this early warning helps us to take action to prevent homelessness.
