Welcome to our online payment service, which allows you to pay council bills online using your credit and debit cards.


Please note that if you are paying a Council Tax bill for a previous financial year by debit or credit card, you must phone 0141 842 4400 and speak to one of our customer service advisors who will be able to allocate your payment to the correct financial year. Alternatively, you can pay at your local collection office, or by post, but you must indicate which year your payment is meant for.

• Payments will take two working days to reach your account.
• The council will not accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the debit or credit card supplier.

Is it safe?
Paying your bills online is completely safe. Transactions on the Capita site are protected by strict security measures.

How do I pay?
There is no transaction fee for payments made online. However, a 2% charge will be applied for credit card payments only. To make an online payment, click on the link above. Follow the on-screen instructions and make sure you have your debit or credit card and the reference number of the bill you wish to pay close to hand.
