There are a variety of award schemes available for young people across Renfrewshire. These award schemes offer different opportunities and activities for young people of differing ages and interests to become involved in.
Renfrewshire Council recognises and promotes the achievements of young people. Renfrewshire Council Youth Services offer young people aged 10 to those aged over 21 the opportunity to participate in a range of awards, during which time young people develop skills, gain knowledge as well as receiving an award.
Currently, Renfrewshire Council Youth Services offer support for the following awards:
- Community Sports Leadership Award - for young people aged 16 and above
- Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme - for young people aged 14 to 25
- Dynamic Youth Award - for young people aged 10 to 14
- Junior Sports Leadership Award - for young people aged 14 and above
- Youth Achievement Awards - for young people aged 14 to 20
