The Educational Psychology Service aims to:
- help create conditions which enable children and young people to achieve their full potential, particularly where they are experiencing problems
- work together with parents, teachers, and other partners to prevent or overcome such problems.
- promote understanding and advancement of learning and teaching strategies by engaging in authority-wide strategies and innovations, and
- conduct research which meets rigorous quality and ethical standards.
