Most of the services are free if you are still at school and you become a library member. CDs can only be borrowed if you are over 13 and DVDs can only be borrowed if you are over 16. The only items you will be charged for are DVDs - they are £2.20 to borrow for 1 week. We also have:

We have books by:


Kate Cann is this year's winner of the Renfrewshire Teenage Book Award (RTBA) with 'Leaving Poppy'. It's a great read so why don't you ask in your local library for a copy now!

You will find lots more if you have a look at the library online catalogue. Children and young people of all ages can come along and borrow books by their favourite author.

Our range of books include:

• board books and picture books for babies and toddlers to introduce reading.
• easy reads for new readers to build up confidence.
• books to cater for all tastes including adventure, sci-fi, fun books, and mystery.
• a range of up to the minute teenage fiction books.
• story CD’s and tapes when you feel you want someone to read to you.
• factual books for homework, study or hobbies.

Computers
Another big plus if you join the library is that you can surf the net free and relax in comfortable surroundings. You just book a PC using your library membership card and start surfing.
