Use the library catalogue.
If you haven't looked for a while you will notice some big changes which we hope you like. We are constantly developing our library catalogue and we are very interested in hearing your views on how we can make improvements. Let us know what you think by email to libraries.els@renfrewshire.gov.uk or through your local library.
The catalogue is your starting point for making the most of your library visit.
Whether you come in to the library or visit us online, check out our:
- No time to go the library? - you can use the catalogue 24/7 service with online renewals and reservations
- Need to know something in a hurry but overwhelmed with results from search engines? - Make life easy with our high quality e resources, topic based and fully searchable, they are particularly useful for essays and homework. This service is only available to library members, if you are not a library member you need to register for temporary online membership to use this service
- What you will find in the catalogue:
- The catalogue contains over 300,000 items and also provides details of other published items that are not in our libraries' stock. If you want to borrow something which is not in the catalogue, or request a journal article, please contact your local library and staff will be happy to help you.
Some older Local studies and reference stock is still being added to the online catalogue, a full stock list is available from the catalogue in Paisley Central Library. For more information on these items, please contact the Reference and Local Studies library.
