Ask Scotland is an online information service provided by Scotland's public libraries that lets you get real answers from real people.
Renfrewshire Libraries also provide a free enquiry service for your questions on other topics. The service is free and anyone can use it at any time. You can ask about anything, and library staff will help you to find the answer. We cannot give you specific advice, but we can recommend the best sources of information. Check here for some popular topics library staff are often asked about.

We're happy to help, but thanks to the internet you may be able to find it yourself:
- use the web gateway links to pre-selected websites arranged by subject.
- use the electronic reference library free access to high-quality subscription sites for our library members. We've paid so you don't have to!
- Check our catalogue - you can reserve books online.
- Check the University of the West of Scotland. Renfrewshire Libraries can borrow some items on your behalf from the University Library.
