Renfrewshire learning providers work in partnership to provide information and learning opportunities, suitable for people of all ages and abilities, and at a time and place to suit.

There are a number of places in Renfrewshire where adults, young people, children and families can learn, from learning centres, libraries and community centres to youth clubs and colleges.

We can give you information about a wide range of local courses, including:

• computer-based courses, from beginners through to basic college courses.
• courses designed to help build your confidence, if you are thinking of returning to education and are a little nervous about it.
• help with reading, writing and using numbers
• Gaelic from beginner level
• working with cameras and scanners
• child development

To help you through all the choices, we also provide:

• support and guidance to help you decide how, where, and what you want to learn
• a creche for young children who have not yet started school or nursery

Reading and writing help
Everyday life can be difficult if you have a problem with reading, writing or using numbers - and up to a quarter of us do have problems with these things. A little help from our dedicated team and you'll notice the difference when it comes to budgeting for shopping, helping the kids with homework or using computers.
