The Renfrewshire Educational Trust makes grants for educational purposes, including travel, music and the arts, to individuals and schools within the Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde areas. The trust is made up of governors drawn from the three councils of Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde. It also includes religious and educational representatives.
The trust's board of governors generally meets four times a year to make decisions on grant applications. Meetings take place in February, May, August and November each year and are held in Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley.
At the last meeting of the board they agreed to award one student £3000. You can view or download a copy of the Renfrewshire Educational Trust 2009 poster below which gives more details about the award.
