On 3 May 2007, Council elections took place throughout Scotland as a combined poll with elections to the Scottish Parliament on the same day.

Council wards
Councillors were elected for each of the eleven wards of Renfrewshire Council. Ward names, ward boundaries and the number of councillors elected for each is shown below:
