The Carts Greenspace Initiative is a partnership between Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Glasgow City councils, Scottish Natural Heritage and interested outside bodies.The aims of the initiative are to:

• promote sustainability
• improve quality of life
• enhance the competitiveness of urban Scotland.

This initiative is grant aided by Scottish Natural Heritage and has also been funded through the new opportunities fund. Meetings of the local area partnership are held quarterly on a rotation basis at the offices of the partner authorities.The Carts Greenspace manager can be contacted by phone on 0141 842 5272 or by email contact@cartsgreenspace.org.uk.
