Statutory performance indicators are set by the Accounts Commission and collected from all Scottish councils.

Each of the indicators is designed to help you better understand the cost, economy, efficiency or effectiveness with which council services are delivered. Most of the major council services are reflected in the selection of indicators.

Many of the indicators presented can be used to consider how the performance of Renfrewshire Council's services has changed over time. Where available, we have shown our performance over the past two years. However, some of the indicators have either had changes in definition since earlier years or have changed in terms of the collected data. In such cases, direct comparison over time may not be possible or appropriate.
