Consultation launched on economic development in Renfrewshire
Renfrewshire Council has launched its biggest ever consultation programme with businesses and leading public agencies in a bid to boost the prospects for economic development in the area.

The Scottish Public Services Ombudsman's commentary for July 2007 contains 31 reports which have been laid before the Scottish Parliament - 16 relate to local government, 14 to the health sector and 1 to the Scottish Government and devolved administration.

£6.6 million flood barrier set to tame the Clyde
