Every council service plans how to respond to a disaster as part of their normal operations. The Civil Contingencies Service provides these council services with specialist advice on emergency planning. The Civil Contingencies Service is a joint service operated by Renfrewshire Council, East Renfrewshire Council and Inverclyde Council.
