Cabinet secretary Fiona Hyslop and Councillor Derek Mackay sign Renfrewshire's Single Outcome Agreement
Community planning brings public sector agencies (like the Council, the police and the health service), voluntary organisations and local communities together to plan what we all want to achieve for Renfrewshire and how we can work together to do this.

This work is set out for you to read in Renfrewshire's Community Plan.

Renfrewshire Community Planning Partnership is developing a new community plan to cover the period 2008-2017. This will set out where we want Renfrewshire to be in 2017 and what we intend to do to get there.

Renfrewshire's 7th Community Planning Conference Events take place in four separate venues throughout Renfrewshire during September 2008. These events will be very important in the development of the community plan and we'll report back on them to you in October.

All of Scotland's 32 local authorities have finalised Single Outcome Agreements which promote and streamline joint working between councils and other public agencies to deliver services.

Each council's Single Outcome Agreement is linked to delivering the Scottish Government's strategic objectives of a wealthier and fairer; smarter; healthier; safer and stronger; and greener Scotland.
