Environmental health and trading standards deal with animal health, welfare and pest control.
Trading standards make sure that the animal health and welfare law is enforced in Renfrewshire. The council's pest control team investigate and, where necessary, treat premises and land where pests are found.

We have an animal warden service which promotes and encourages responsible dog ownership as well as dealing with complaints of stray dogs and dog nuisance throughout Renfrewshire.
