The Council has fully furnished flats available for temporary accommodation. Some of these flats have on-site 24 hour support. The Council also use local bed and breakfast establishments for temporary housing. This accommodation is provided until we reach a decision on your application. The average length of stay in temporary accommodation is around 12 weeks.

If you don't qualify for priority permanent housing, we will offer temporary accommodation, advice and help for at least 28 days. This should give you time to find alternative accommodation.
