You must have a local connection with Renfrewshire. This could be through close family associations or because you have a recent history of living here. You need to have lived in Renfrewshire for the past six months, or for three years out of the last five.

If you have special circumstances, we will look at your situation on a case-by-case basis. This includes people fleeing domestic violence or who have no local connection with anywhere in the United Kingdom.
