If you report a repair to your council house, we will deal with any problems with your property within the following timescales:

Within 24 hours of issuing repairs, we will also give you written details of:

• the type of repair we intend to carry out
• the contractor’s name
• appointment details
• the target completion date for the work
  

We can offer appointments on an agreed morning or afternoon for routine and normal repairs.

When working in your home, our tradesmen will:

• show you their identification badges
• work safely
• leave the site clean and tidy at the end of each working day
• store all equipment and materials safely and securely
• be polite and helpful
• take every reasonable step to avoid damaging your property
• respect the security of your home
