Provost Cameron has worked with a number of Renfrewshire businesses spending a day in the life of many different occupations, in return for a donation towards her four chosen charities.

Working challenge at White Cart Company - 7 Aug 2019

White Cart Company

Provost Cameron spent an afternoon working on the shop floor of the popular Paisley gift shop. She helped customers make their purchases and, most importantly, learned how to work the till - although she left the gift wrapping to the experts.

White Cart Company kindly donated £200 to St Vincent's Hospice.


Working challenge at City Gate Construction - 16 Nov 2018

Provost at City Gate Construction

Provost Cameron learned the tricks of the trade with the team at City Gate Construction. She tried her hand at plastering a wall and learned how to use computer-aided design technology. She also met local young apprentices and interns and learned more about how the company are helping local young people in to employment.

City Gate Construction kindly donated £500 to MND Scotland.


Working Challenge at Johnstone Train Station - 3 December 2018

Provost Cameron spent a day working for Scotrail at Johnstone Train Station who were also supporting MND Scotland. She worked in the ticket office and was responsible for gritting the platforms.
