Highland Fling Swing

Swinging in style

It's just three weeks until we travel up to Killiecrankie to take part in the Highland Fling Swing and I'm excited to see what's in store for our eager daredevils as they 'fling' themselves in to raising money for MND Scotland!

The Highland Fling Swing is a 40 metre high swing attached to a bridge over the River Garry. Rigged in a full body harness, fundraisers will be dropped for a free fall of around 15 metres, before swinging under the bridge and taking in the stunning views.

I really love that as part of my role as Provost I'm able to support the amazing work that charities such as MND Scotland undertake in our communities.

Every penny raised from our Highland Fling Swing will help support their research into Motor Neurone Disease and make a difference to future generations.

It's not too late to sign up if you're feeling brave. The swing takes place on Friday 10 August and transport is provided from Paisley.

Just email to find out more.

I look forward to seeing you there!
