Ralston Primary School to open as usual tomorrow morning

Police have completed their examination of school and it will open as normal tomorrow morning. All the children are safe and well.

The school was evacuated as a precautionary measure this morning following the receipt of a malicious phone call. Nursery children and those in P1-P3 were taken to Ralston Community Sports Centre and P4-P7 children to Paisley Grammar School. Most were collected during school hours but appropriate arrangements were in place for those picked up at the end of the day, with lunch provided at both sites.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to parents for their patience and assistance during today's events. After being contacted to collect their children, their quick and calm response helped staff who were working to ensure all pupils were taken to alternate sites and picked-up by an appropriate adult.
