Clydeplan Strategic Development Plan

Clydeplan Strategic Development Plan Authority prepare in collaboration with Renfrewshire and the seven other Local Authorities across the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Region a Strategic Development Plan (SDP) which informs the preparation of Local Development Plans (LDPs). Together the SDP, LDP and Supplementary Guidance form the Development Plan for Renfrewshire.

Clydeplan - The Second Strategic Development Plan

Clydeplan and its eight constituent local authorities are undertaking the preparation of the second Strategic Development Plan (SDP) for the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Region.

The first stage in this process was the publication of the Main Issues Report in January 2015.

The second stage was the production of the proposed plan which was consulted upon for six weeks ending on 29 February 2016.

Following the consultation, the Proposed SDP was submitted to the Scottish Ministers in May 2016 for examination. The examination of the plan commenced on 14 July 2016, it is anticipated that the outcome of the examination will be reported in spring 2017.
