Adult protection

We all know that children need to be protected, but sometimes adults need to be protected too.

Call 0300 300 1380 if you think someone is being harmed or is in danger of being harmed.

Older people can become frail or develop dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Adults who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health problems are more vulnerable than me or you. And the effects of drink or drug abuse can also make it harder for a person to look after themselves.

Members are drawn from NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, the Procurator Fiscal's Office, Renfrewshire Community Health Partnership, Renfrewshire Council, Strathclyde Fire & Rescue and Strathclyde Police.
